The Walmart Beauty Box is a seasonal (4 times a year) subscription box of drugstore brand samples. In each box, you get 3 or 4 deluxe sample size products, a couple foil samples and a handful of coupons. The subscription is “free” but you do pay $5.00 for shipping. If this is something you would like to sign up for here is where you can do it!

Maybelline New York Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation  My skin is too dry to test this out right now but I have been really curious about this and I am excited to test it out!

NIVEA Nourishing In-Shower Body Lotion  I have been really interested in trying this. When I used this there wasn’t enough product in the packet to cover my entire body ( I am small, 5’1 and 110 pounds) This claims to be long lasting and not sticky. Neither of those things was true. My skin felt sticky for several hours after I used it and I didn’t notice any difference in how soft or moisturized my skin felt.

Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum Natural Spray, 0.5 fl oz (affiliate) This is alright. It has a warm, spicy, vanilla scent. Very Lady Gaga like!

Schwarzkopf essence ULTIME Omega Repair & Moisture Shampoo  Eh. This isn’t bad but I don’t love it. The shampoo doesn’t lather and bubble as much as I think shampoo should. The conditioner doesn’t really feel as creamy and moisturizing as I would like. It also has a weird scent to it: a mix of wet paint and Hollister.

Dove Go Fresh Revitalize Body Wash  I have always liked Dove body wash. This did not disappoint. It is nice and creamy and smells good too!

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes  I am really excited to try these! I have recently started using Simple’s Micellar Water and am loving it! So I have high expectations for this guy.
Overall I am not overly excited about this box but I am not disappointed either. For $5.00 4 times a year and the chance to discover something new, I think it is well worth it! If you got a box this spring leave a comment telling me what you liked the most in it!

Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing. Its been almost four years since I finished school, so it feels like a good time to dip my toes back into the school scene. I decided to enroll in IIN or the Institute for Integrative Nutrition…

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques “Deep Sea Masque” | Review

Finding affordable, organic skin care and makeup products is a rare thing. Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques is a rare gem in regards to price and quality. Clay face masks are one of my favorites because you can really see where the oil and gunk are being pulled out. The Deep Sea Masque from Lauren Brooke comes as a powder to be mixed with any liquids of your choosing and is created with so many nourishing ingredients, it’s impossible to not be intrigued by it…
