Stila’s Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector is a really strange and interesting product. It is a foundation with a formula that is a mix between a powder and a play dough texture. It feels powdery when you touch it and apply it, but it is putty-like and moves around a little within the pan. I first learned about it from CoffeeBreakwithDani’s video on it. She absolutely loves it so I had to try it out for myself! She and I have different skin types, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

When I put it on the first time I used the sponge that came with it. I was really impressed with how well it covered my acne and darkness under my eyes. I didn’t need any extra coverage to conceal anything anywhere! One thing that I didn’t like was when I looked closely in the mirror it looked cakey and flaky. I have that problem a lot with most foundations.

I decided to try it out with a buffing brush and that was a little better. Sometimes brushes can pull at my skin and make it flake even more. I also tried spot concealing with this with a small brush and that worked well.

I also used a damp blending sponge with this and liked that the best. It doesn’t cake the makeup on like the sponge that comes with it does, but it still provides a good amount of coverage.

I would recommend this for normal to slightly oily skin. My skin is on the dry and sensitive side. I do like the coverage that this gives and how light weight it is. But the way it looks on my skin isn’t the best. I know this works well for a lot of people, though!

Have you used this Putty Perfector? How do you like it? Please tell me in the comments!
