Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques offers many wonderful, natural, and organic beauty products. These two lip options are nothing short of just that.

(Read my reviews on their foundationeye makeup, and cleanser.)

For me, neutral pink lip colors are my go to lip colors. They are easy to wear, aren’t too bold and have sweet, famine tint to them. This lipstick in the shade Peluche is just that. It is neutral with a slight red-pink shade. On my light skin, it works especially well as a Fall/Winter nude.

Its demi-matte finish is comfortable and moisturizing. It has an average wear time. It does wear away when eating or drinking but I think comfort can be taken in the fact that Lauren Brook makes all of their products from harmless, natural and organic ingredients. Unlike many other lipsticks, you don’t have to worry about ingesting a whole array of illegible synthetic ingredients. EWG scores it a beautiful 1 out of 10.

I don’t often reach for lip glosses, but on occasion, when I’d like a pretty, subtle color and something with a touch of hydration on the lips, a gloss is good to have on hand. And better yet a gloss that has been rated a 2 by EWG.

This purple shade, Candied Plum, isn’t as loud as it looks. It provides a very pretty magenta wash with a hint of micro-shimmer.

One feature across the whole brand that really stands out to me is the ability to order any product in a sample size (like the lipgloss I have pictured above). It can be a little scary ordering makeup online. The sample sizes are a wonderful idea to get a feel for the color and formulation of each product!

These products are comfortable, quality and also healthier options.

Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing. Its been almost four years since I finished school, so it feels like a good time to dip my toes back into the school scene. I decided to enroll in IIN or the Institute for Integrative Nutrition…

The Deep Sea Masque from Lauren Brooke comes as a powder to be mixed with any liquids of your choosing and is created with so many nourishing ingredients, it’s impossible to not be intrigued by it…
