Ipsy is a monthly, beauty subscription service. It is $10 a month. You get 4 or 5 full size or deluxe samples in a cute makeup bag. It is a great way to learn about and try products from both the drugstore and higher end stores for a really reasonable price.

I have been loving eyeshadow sticks like this. They are so quick and easy to use! NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Color in the color “Gilt” is great! It is so creamy, easy to apply and easy to blend. The color is a pretty, light gold. They can be found in many colors and they come  with a sharpener that is just the right size!

Jor’el Parker Eau De Parfum Classico Perfume Rollerball is a very nice summer scent. I would like it as a night-time fragrance. It has a floral smell… something like lilacs I think, with a sexy twist to it.

CITY COLOR HD Powder is not my favorite translucent powder. I found that it didn’t blend in well. It was really difficult to pick up with a brush. I either got too much or not enough on my brush. The packaging isn’t the best. The sifter if hard to get out and the powder escapes the threads of the cap no matter how tight you twist it. I prefer the e.l.f. HD Powder instead.

pūr~lisse our-bright ultra skin brightening serum is very lightweight and hydrating. A little bit goes a very long way! It is nice to use on a hot, sweaty day.

Crown Brush Professional Tweezers are a lot like my favorite tweezers by Revlon (Mini set… I think this is it… mine are a different color)! They have a nice sharp edge that grabs every hair. These from crown are big. They would be great for applying false lashes!

I am pretty happy with this months glam bag and am excited for next months! What did you get in your glam bag? What was your favorite thing?  Mine was the Nudestix eyeshadow stick. Tell me yours below in the comments!

❤️ Liz

Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing. Its been almost four years since I finished school, so it feels like a good time to dip my toes back into the school scene. I decided to enroll in IIN or the Institute for Integrative Nutrition…

Finding affordable, organic skin care and makeup products is a rare thing. Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques is a rare gem in regards to price and quality. Clay face masks are one of my favorites because you can really see where the oil and gunk are being pulled out. The Deep Sea Masque from Lauren Brooke comes as a powder to be mixed with any liquids of your choosing and is created with so many nourishing ingredients, it’s impossible to not be intrigued by it…
