Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. You receive about five deluxe sample size and/or full-size beauty products to test out, learn about and play with. It is a great way to discover new brands and types of products. I look forward to receiving my glam bag every month!

Aurora Gel Effect Nail Polish in Inky Dinky: I am really liking this nail polish! “Inky Dinky” is a gorgeous fall color… a dark navy blue. It is a quick drying polish and applies smoothly. It did need two coats to be fully opaque. So far it has not been doing too bad of a job resisting chips. I have been only wearing it for a day and I don’t have any base or top coat on with it.

theBalm Meet Matte Hughes Lip Color, Committed: This is a very pretty, neutral, red, brown shade. When I swatched it, it took a lot of scrubbing to get the lipstick off of my hand! It smells very nice… like mint and vanilla! It took a long time for it to fully dry. When it was partly dry, it felt a little sticky, but it’s not overly uncomfortable.

Coastal Scents Xpress Line Cosmetic Pencil In Black: This pencil has great pigmentation, it doesn’t smudge much and sets quickly. Once it sets it is pretty difficult to remove. I had to rub a lot to get this swatch off.

Ayres Ipsy exclusive Pampas Sunrise Hand Cream: This is a great moisturizer. It is silky and gets the job done. I’m not in love with the scent but I can live with it. I did find that the scent has a pretty strong taste. I rubbed in the little dollop you see in the photo, a few hours later ate some grapes and could taste the lotion that transferred from my fingers to the grape more than I could taste the actual grape. Yuck!

Peter Lamas Naturals Exfoliating Pumpkin Facial Scrub: How appropriate is this scrub for this time of year?! It smells amazing… like pumpkin, cinnamon, and vanilla! It exfoliates really well without over drying or irritating my skin. So far I really like it!

I am really happy with this months bag! The stuff is great and the makeup bag is really cute. It is gold on one side and shiny black on the other. My favorite product in this month’s bag is the nail polish. What did you get this month? What was your favorite item? Please tell me in the comments!

Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing.
