Graydon Skin Care is a Canadian brand great for label readers like me. The ingredients are natural, nontoxic, cruelty-free, chemical and synthetic free, and organic whenever possible. Each product is made with luxury and pampering in mind. Both the packaging and the product inside are beautiful to use as well as display on your shelves or countertops. These face and body travel essential samples are nothing short of lovely.

Aloe Milk Cleanser

Most of the time I prefer soapless facial cleansers like oils, creams or balms. This Aloe Milk Cleanser is a cream cleanser and makeup remover all in one. It leaves the skin feeling smooth, clean and hydrated.

This sunscreen is made from zinc rather than chemicals. Not only is your skin protected from the sun’s hot rays, Seabuckthorn oil and aloe juice help to nourish your skin as well. The formula is a slightly thick one. It works well on the body, but it’s not something I would want to wear on my face in the hot weather.

All Over Face + Body Lotion

This lotion smells of lavender and rosemary. Yum! It is very moisturizing, yet light weight. It works well as both a body lotion and a face lotion. I’ve noticed as a face lotion it has a slightly dewy finish. If I were to wear makeup over time I might use a couple extra mattifying products to keep foundation/concealer in place.

All Over Soap + Shampoo

I decided to try this out as a shampoo. It doesn’t suds up quite as much as I’d like and it leaves almost a waxy feeling when rinsing it out, but when my hair dries it feels really clean, healthy and a bit thicker. I haven’t tried it as a body or face soap yet, but I think it is gentle enough so your skin won’t feel stripped and tight.

Hair Smoothie

This conditioner can be used as a mask, regular conditioner as well as a leave-in conditioner for dry ends. I’ve only tried it as a regular in shower conditioner. It doesn’t feel as creamy as I’d prefer but it detangles really well. After I’ve rinsed it out, my hair feels really soft and manageable.

Each of these 5 products is wonderfully made and very effective. These are ones that I would go for in full size. I would love to share how awesome this brand it with you. Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing. Its been almost four years since I finished school, so it feels like a good time to dip my toes back into the school scene. I decided to enroll in IIN or the Institute for Integrative Nutrition…
