Gentle cleansers such as milk and oils are all the rage right now. They remove makeup with ease, your skin is left very soft and hydrated, and it can help balance out overly oily and acne prone skin, as well as moisten dry skin. Andalou Naturals Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk ticks off all of those points.

First off, it smells great. You can smell the apricot as well as hints of the other fruity ingredients.

The texture is really nice. It feels gentle and nourishing, but not oily. The makeup removal component is pretty good, however, removing water resistant/proof mascara takes a bit more effort than it would with an oil.

Andalou’s Cleansing Milk is made without GMO’s, gluten, or synthetic chemicals. Resveratrol, CoQ10, and their “PhytoCellTec” are used to keep skin hydrated, youthful, and healthy.

I was really keen on this because of the probiotics. I hoped it might help a bit with my acne. I’m not really sure if it made much of a difference there because I have so much internal healing to do before my acne clears up. I also have a bad habit of picking at my acne, which causes it to spread and get worse. It wasn’t designed for acne prone skin so I won’t hold it accountable.Other than that I’m really happy with this cleanser and would recommend it and purchase it again.

Lemongrass Spa’s “Pomegranate Body Polish” | Review

Winter is upon us. Often along with the beautiful, snowy scenes, and cozy clothes, we get dry skin. Exfoliating and moisturizing are two things that I forget to do very easily. But thank goodness there are products out there that can do both at the same time. I’ve just tried Lemongrass Spa’s Pomegranate Body Polish and was blown away by how well it can multi-task…

Four Months at IIN

Since graduating high school in 2014 I haven’t done much to further my education. Instead, I took the time to focus on my health and to work on healing. Its been almost four years since I finished school, so it feels like a good time to dip my toes back into the school scene. I decided to enroll in IIN or the Institute for Integrative Nutrition…
